1. The Chronicle of Philanthropy published an article written by Michelle Gienow entitled “Teaching the Class of 2009: How nonprofit groups can get stellar work from summer interns.”

2. David Kinard announced on his blog that the AMA Foundation will be holding a Non Profit Marketing Conference in Chicago, IL July 15th through the 17th.

3. Idealist.org will be hosting an event for volunteers in Buenos Aires, Argentina on June 16th.

4. A. Fine announced on her blog that Mashable has announced a campaign entitled “Summer of Social Good.” This campaign runs from June 1st to August 28th and benefits four charities: The Humane Society, Oxfam, World Wildlife Fund, and LiveStrong.

5. Tactical Philanthropy made mention of an article published by the San Francisco Business Times entitled “Web site promotes candid reviews of nonprofits.”

6. The Charity Navigator Blog announced Social Solution’s ETOLution 2009 Conference, taking place November 16th-17th in Baltimore, MD. This event will provide suggestions to improve the functionality of organizations in current, tough economic times.
