Interested in career opportunities in the service sector? Here are a few job openings with a variety of organizations:

1.) Achievement First, a charter school management organization is looking for a Director of School Operations in for their Brooklyn, New York location. Responsibilities include overseeing the budget and distribution of resources, allowing the principal to focus on issues of student achievement. This position is essential to the Achievement First model of separating administrative duties into those dealing directly with students and those related to logistical concerns. 2.) The United Way Association of South Carolina is seeking an AmeriCorps Program Development Coordinator to work with grantees of the South Carolina Commission on National and Community Service to implement trainings and development support for these organizations. 3.) LIFT is an organization that works to combat poverty and provide opportunity through helping people find housing and jobs, access healthcare, and gain a better understanding of available social programs and benefits. They are currently recruiting Site Coordinators/AmeriCorps members. This is a two-year position from July 2011-July 2013. 4.)HealthLeads is looking for a Program Director at its Boston, MA location. Health Leads operates in clinics across the United States and “prescribes” patients with food, housing, health insurance, job training, fuel assistance, or other resources. They offer access to these resources and answer patients’ questions. The program director will be responsible for recruiting and supervising a team of leaders within the Boston region.
