1. The Chronicle of Philanthropy will be hosting a discussion on “how charities can estimate how much time and money to spend on efforts tied to social-networking Web sites such as Twitter and Facebook, on blogs, and in virtual worlds like Second Life.”  “Measuring Returns from Social Networks” will be held today, July 21st, at noon. 

2. The Change Management Blog published an informative piece entitled “Change Model 3: John Kotter’s 8 Steps of Leading Change.” This piece is an outline of an eight step model for leading change developed by John Kotter, a leading management thinker and writer. 

3. The Non-Profit Tech Blog featured a post entitled “Blogging Budget for Nonprofits.” This post discusses how to budget a blog for a nonprofit organization. 

4. The Nonprofit Board Crisis discussed that both nonprofit organizations and for-profit businesses are anxious to provide Carbon Management Software. Carbon Management Software will help organizations and businesses to reach their carbon reduction goals.

5. The Philanthropy Journal made mention to an article entitled “Nonprofit Salaries up in Central Florida.” This article reports that “among CEOs and executive directors in Central Florida, men are paid a lot more than women, and salaries generally are higher for those with more education.”
