1. The Chronicle of Philanthropy reported that a relief charity by the name of International Aid, located in Spring Lake, Michigan, is suspending operations. This charity has been working for nearly three decades to help impoverished people. 

2. The Nonprofit Marketing Blog announced the Connect One Sweepstakes, sponsored by Capital One. The grand prize for this contest is a $10,000 grant to a nonprofit of the winner’s choice.

3. A post on the A. Fine Blog, entitled “Twitter Vote Report Case Study,” reports on two case studies: The Twitter Vote Report and The Inauguration Report. The two pieces were both compiled by individuals at the Center for Social Media at American University

4. The Nonprofit Marketing Guide published a piece entitled, “My Five Favorite Twitter Tools.” This piece lists five great tools to use when on the Twitter website. 

5. The Philanthropy Journal published a report entitled “Fundraising 2009.” This report gives ideas on how nonprofits can maintain and increase their fundraising.
