Congressman Hank Johnson Joins National Service Caucus!!

Congressman Hank Johnson recently joined the House National Service Caucus. ServeNext applauds Congressman Johnson’s commitment to supporting America’s national service programs. Congressman Johnson represents Georgia’s 4th congressional district. According to the Corporation for National & Community Service, “More than 24,000 people of all ages and backgrounds are helping to meet local needs, strengthen communities, and increase civic engagement through 122 national service projects across Georgia. This year, the Corporation for National and Community Service will commit more than $15,400,000 to support Georgia communities through three national service initiatives: AmeriCorps, Senior Corps, and Learn & Serve America.” Congressman Johnson is also a Co-Sponsor of H.R. 1671, The U.S. Public Service Academy Act.
