Obama addresses National Service in Plymouth

Last night, U.S. Senator Barack Obama (IL-IL) addressed expanding opportunities for Americans to serve in his stump speech and later took a question on National Service at Plymouth State University in Plymouth, NH.

“Not only do (members) get leadership skills and have the satisfaction of seeing their good works make a difference in people’s lives, but they get $16k to help pay for their student loans. It’s a great program, it needs to be expanded.”
