Harris Wofford to attend ServeNext Factory Forum this Monday
Posted by aaronjmarquez on December 14, 2007

Former U.S. Senator Harris Wofford will speak with National Service supporters in Manchester on Monday morning as part of the ServeNext Factory Forum Series, sharing why he has chosen to support Barack Obama for President in 2008. The former Associate Director of the Peace Corps, CEO of the Corporation for National & Community Service, and special assistant to President John F. Kennedy, Wofford has dedicated his life to the goal of making citizen service a common expectation and experience for all Americans.
U.S. Senator Barack Obama was accompanied by Wofford last week on his Call to Serve College Tour in Iowa, where he formally rolled out his National Service policy. The comprehensive plan, which was endorsed by ServeNext, includes the expansion of AmeriCorps to 250,000 members annually and doubling the Peace Corps by its 50th anniversary in 2010.
Light refreshments will be served. Guests are asked to arrive at maax, Inc. in Manchester at 10:00am. Please spread the word… this event is open to the public!
