Democratic National Convention staffers serve in Denver

Posted by aaronjmarquez on November 6, 2007

Was pleased to find this posted on the Democratic National Convention Committee’s Facebook Group earlier this week:

In an effort to give back to the Denver community hosting the 2008 Democratic National Convention, Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) staffers continued their efforts to give back to the community hosting the Convention with an October service project at Edna Oliver Montessori Early Learning Center in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood. The group joined students for a classroom activity and took part in an outdoor clean-up project on the center’s grounds.

Wouldn’t it be incredible to see convention delegates engaged in service at both the Democratic & Republican National Conventions? Imagine the message it would send the local communities…
